God used a man by the name of Harold Camping (July 19, 1921 - December 15, 2013) to discover many of the hidden truths that were sealed up until the time of the end as we read in Daniel 12:4,"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." By God's mercy and guidance, Mr. Camping discovered that Genesis 5 and 11 constitute a Biblical Calendar of History.
God had never allowed mankind to uncover this kind of groundbreaking information prior to the '70's, when the book "Adam When?" was first published. Mr. Camping always felt "kind of funny," as he put it, that God allowed him to make this discovery. It opened up the Bible in an unprecedented way, because now key dates (including Creation itself ) for many historical figures and events could be accurately ascertained.
The year when God spoke this universe into existence. The concept of a 6000-year old earth was introduced by Bishop Ussher who did not have a complete understanding of the Biblical timeline and was off by 7000 years. The widely accepted ideas that the earth is 4.5 billion years old and the universe 13.8 billion years is also not true. In 2011, the earth and the universe reached the 13,023 year mark.
God creates Adam the very first man.
Adam was 130 when Seth was born. (Genesis. 5:3)
Seth was 105 when Enos was born.
Enos dies 905 years after his birth, (Genesis 5:11) which is the year Kenan was born and which began his period.
Kenan dies at 910 years after his birth. (Genesis 5:14). (Kenan = Cainan) This is the year Mahalaleel was born and the beginning of his period.
895 years after his birth(Genesis 5:17). This is the year Jared was born and the beginning of his period.
962 years after his birth(Genesis 5:20). This is the year Enoch was born and the beginning of his period.
Enoch is raptured at the age of 365 years. (Genesis 5:23). This is the year Methuselah was born and the beginning of his period.
(Genesis 5:27). Methuselah was the oldest human that ever lived. He lived to be 969 years old! Yet we read in the Bible how short one's life is: Psalm 144:4 "Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away." This is the year Lamech was born and the beginning of his period.
Lamech was 182 when Noah was born. (Genesis 5:28-29)
438 years after his birth (Genesis 11:12-13). This is the year Salah was born and the beginning of his period.
502 years after the flood is the year Arphaxad was born and the beginning of his period. (Genesis 11:10-11)
The flood was a global event that took place in 4990 B.C. destroying almost all of mankind. Only eight people were saved. God commanded Noah to build an ark, a giant ship that would save Noah's family as well as all the animals that God intended to save. These eight souls that were saved were Noah and his family because they listened to God's warning.
(Genesis 6:5, "And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." {6} And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. {7} And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.")
Noah was 600 years old (Genesis 7:6) when the flood came in the year 4990 B.C on the 17th day of the second month of Noah's calendar . Exactly 7000 years later the day of Judgment began on May 21, 2011, which was also the 17th day of the second month of the Jewish calendar. 4990 B.C is a key date in the timeline.
433 years after his birth(Genesis 11:14-15). This is the year Eber was born and the beginning of his period.
464 years after his birth (Genesis 11:16-17). This is the year Peleg was born and the beginning of his period
During Peleg’s patriarchal period, the division of the continents occurred (Genesis 10:25). The Tower of Babel must have been constructed between these dates 3153-2914 B.C
239 years after his birth. (Genesis 11:18-19) This is the year Reu was born and the beginning of his period.
239 years after his birth. (Genesis 11:20-21) This is the year Serug was born and the beginning of his period.
230 years after his birth. (Genesis 11:22-23) This is the year Nahor was born and the beginning of his period.
148 years after his birth(Genesis 11:24-25). This is the year Terah was born and the beginning of his period.
Terah was 130 years old at the birth of Abram.
This is when Abram entered the land of Canaan.
Abram was circumcised when he was 99 years of age.
Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born. (Genesis 21:5)
Abraham paid 400 shekels for a burial site for Sara.
Isaac was 60 years old when Jacob was born (Genesis 25:26)
#1 Jacob arrives in Haran at the age of 60.
#2 Jacob works for seven years for Rachel and is then married to Leah at 67.
#3 Reuben is born to Leah the following year, when Jacob is 68.
#4 Simeon is born to Leah when Jacob is 69.
#5 Levi is born to Leah when Jacob is 70.
#6 Jacob finishes his second seven-year contract for Rachel when he is 74.
#7 Jacob works for wages for 20 years. In the 17th year of this period, Joseph is born. Jacob is 91.
#8 At the end of the 20 year period, Joseph is weaned and Jacob wishes to leaven Haran. He is 94.
#9 Jacob works for six years longer for his flocks and leaves Haran at age 100.
Jacob's name is changed to Israel and he buys land for 100 shekels at 100 years of age.
Sesostris III became pharaoh. He was part of the Middle Kingdom or 12th Dynasty of Egypt. His father, Sesostris II, probably reigned during the previous 19 years and possibly came to an untimely death.
Levi's time in Egypt (137-60) ................................... 77 years Kohath period of patriarchal leadership...... 133 years Amram period of patriarchal leadership....... 137 years Aaron's age at the time of the Exodus .......... 83 years (Exodus 7:7) Total: 430 years (Exodus 12:40-41)
Joseph became Prime Minister or Grand Vizier of Egypt under Sesostris III.
When Jacob is 130. (Genesis 47:9)
The family of Joseph came to Egypt and took up residence in the land of Goshen. The city of Avaris (Zoan in the Bible), which later was called Tanis or Qantir, was the capital.
Sesostris III died after an exceedingly successful reign of 38 years. He was succeeded by another great 12th Dynasty pharaoh named Amenemhet III. Under his reign Joseph continued as Prime Minister. A canal bearing Joseph’s name was constructed at this time.
This is the year of Joseph's death. (Genesis 50:25-26)," And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence. So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.")
Amenemhet III died after a 48-year reign. During his reign Egypt was prosperous, tranquil, and productive. He was succeeded by Amenemhet IV who reigned for 9 years. During his reign, there was much internal strife for royal supremacy.
Amenemhet IV died and was succeeded by the last pharaoh of the 12th Dynasty, Sebeknefrure.
Sebeknefrure’s reign of four years ended and with it ended the 12th Dynasty. The 13th Dynasty began. The reigns of succeeding pharaohs were short, and the empire began to dissolve. The Israelites, who no doubt are the “Hyksos” of archaeological fame, took advantage of the internal struggles to acquire a strong hand in the Egyptian government, and indeed some of them may have reigned as pharaohs during this period.
1580 BC. (approx.) Several dynasties have ruled over Egypt since 1787 BC. At this time, Ahmose I began to reign as the first king of the 18th Dynasty. He forcibly began to remove the Israelites (Hyksos) from political power. The most war-like Israelites were driven from the land, and the Israelitish nation began to be severely oppressed. Either this pharaoh or a closely succeeding pharaoh such as Thutmose I could well have been the king who “...did not know Joseph” (Exodus 1:8).
1560 BC. (approx.) Ahmose I was followed by his son Amenhotep I. Amenhotep I consolidated the gains of his father.
1540-1535 BC. (approx.) Thutmose I began to reign as king. He, too, was a continuation of the 18th Dynasty. He continued and probably intensified the oppressive measures against the Israelites; he was ruling when Moses was born. His animosity towards the Israelites was probably heightened by his troubles with Palestine and Syria. His reign was followed by that of his son Thutmose II.
Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible. He was used by God to deliver the Israelites out of the bondage of the Egyptians and bring them to the Promised Land. Moses was born at a time when a royal edict condemned all Hebrew boy babies to be destroyed. Princess Hatshepsut, a daughter of the king, found Moses in the bulrushes and raised him as her son.
Thutmose III began to reign as the greatest king of the 18th Dynasty. For approximately the first 25 years of his reign, he was co- regent with Princess Hatshepsut. She regarded herself as a king and was the dominant ruler during this co-regency.
Moses fled from Egypt. King Hatshepsut, who had raised Moses as her son, sought to kill him because of his evident loyalty to the Israelites.
1481 BC. (approx.) King Hatshepsut died and Thutmose III continued to reign until the time of the Exodus.
Israel went out of Egypt during the reign of Thutmose III. The Exodus occurred after Israel had been in Egypt for 430 years (Genesis 12:40).
The Chronological Sequence During the Egyptian Sojourn
Remember that the death year of one patriarch coincides with the birth year of the next, so the result must look like this:•
Levi’s time in Egypt (137 minus 60)
77 years• Kohath period of patriarchal leadership
133 years• Amram period of patriarchal leadership
137 years• Aaron age at the time of the Exodus
83 years (Exodus 7:7)
Total: 430 years
This is the year when Joshua led the Israelites into the Promised Land - a spiritual picture of those whom Jesus (Joshua) leads into Heaven. Moses who represents the law of God, was not allowed by God to bring the Israelites over, because spiritually he represents those who try to keep the law, in order to get to heaven, and this is impossible because no one can keep the law perfectly. In other words God's people can only enter heaven (i.e., the Promised Land) by Jesus (Joshua) not by Moses (i.e., keeping of the law). From 1407-1367 (initial 40 years in Canaan) During this period the conquest of Canaan occurred under Joshua and Othniel delivered Israel.
During this period Ehud & Shamgar deliver Israel.
Deborah and Barak were deliverers during this period.
Gideon judged Israel during this period. God used Gideon and his army of 300 to defeat the Midianites (a vast army). Judges 7:2 "And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me."
Abimelech was the son of Gideon. He slew all of has brethren except the youngest son of Gideon who hid himself.
D
Jair a Gileadite judged Israel twenty and two years. He had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts and they had thirty cities.
Jephthah was a Gileadite and a mighty man of valour; he was also the son of an harlot. Since he was the son of a harlot his brothers thrust him out. Yet he was used by God to delilver Israel out of the hands out Ammon. Jephthah made a vow unto the LORD that if God would deliver the children of Ammon into his hands when he came home in peace the first one to greet him he would sacrifice unto God (thinking to himself it would be one of the farm animals), but to his utter dismay, it was his only daughter.
God completes the Old Testament. Esther is the last book penned.
Jesus Christ is born. The Saviour of mankind (His elect). The likely date of his birth is October 2nd B.C. (Jubilee Year ) Jesus was born on the day of atonement. There are 9 time paths in the OT that lead here; see page 369 of the book "1994?" by Harold Camping
The Church age spanned for 1955 years. Beginning in 33 A.D. and lasting all the way up until May 21, 1988.
90 A.D. is not the exact date when the Bible was completed but it is around the time of 90 AD. Once God finished the Bible He ceased from communicating with mankind in supernatural ways. No longer would man receive dreams, or visions from God. The Bible became the only source of God speaking to man. We can be sure that anything supernatural that takes place is not of God, but of Satan. We can also be sure that any visions that people claim to have are not from God because they are adding to the Bible and God strictly forbids man to "add" or "take away" from His Word. (Revelation 22:18-19 " For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.")
The Nation of Israel is re-established in the Middle East on May 14, 1948, something once thought impossible. The Bible prophesied of this. See: Fig Tree in leaf found in Matthew 24:32
September 7, 1994 began what is known as the latter rain which lasted all the way up until May 21, 2011. During this period God saved a great multitude of people from every nation, more than at any other time in the history of mankind. This was a time of great joy in heaven. [Luke 15:10 "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."}. Since there were millions of people being saved during this time there was much joy in heaven. This also marked the official confirmation of judgment beginning on the churches.
May 21, 2011 was the most publicized date for the Day of Judgment that the world has ever seen. It was publicized on billboards, and advertised on buses. The message was seen on cars, bumper stickers, t-shirts, literature, magazines and newspapers. The news media all over the world also trumpeted the warning message of the Gospel that that date would be JUDGMENT DAY! Much of the world was, in a sense, holding its collective breath in anticipation of the final judgment of God. On May 21, 2011 God brought to pass a Spiritual judgment upon the whole world. Just as God began judging the churches on May 21, 1988, so He has extended this judgment to the whole world.
Could 2033 be the end of the world and the beginning of the "New Heavens and the New Earth" for God's elect?
Note: 2000 years after the Cross; 7023 calendar years after the Flood; 13046 calendar years after Creation. More and more Biblical evidence is suggesting 2033 could be the end of judgment day and the end of this world. God's people are currently studying the Scriptures, waiting upon Him to reveal more information regarding this date and His perfect timing.
(Daniel 2:47 "The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.")
