About BMI

History
For the past 45 years, BMI staff have been self-supporting in proclaiming the Word of God through various avenues - literature, radio, and TV. We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit religious educational organization (EIN: 23-2733992). Presently our focus is as an Internet radio ministry. Following the LORD’s admonition, “...freely ye have received, freely give...” our materials are offered at no charge. We pray that what you find on our website and 24/7 audio stream will be a blessing to you and your family.

Purpose
One of the focus points of BMI is to teach people how to study the Bible for themselves, and to equip them with the proper tools for doing so in order to fully understand and appreciate the fact that the essence of the Bible revolves around the Person and Work of the Lord Jesus Christ, as expressed in the following verses: John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: {17} That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” Acts 17:11, “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

The Task At Hand

Given the time frame we are living in - “the day of Judgment” - BMI recognizes the importance of “feeding God’s sheep” - as expressed in John 21:15-17, which spiritually points to our present day: “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. {16} He saith to him again the second time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. {17} He saith unto him the third time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”  Utilizing whatever avenues and resources the Lord provides, BMI seeks to use communication technology - whether video, internet, radio, print media, or other new kinds of technology - to present the truths of the Bible to as many people as God allows us to - whether that is just one person, or a million. As God continues to reveal truth from the Scriptures, as He has done so progressively since the start of the Great Tribulation (May 21, 1988) we trust that God will allow us to share that blessed information in the most effective way possible, and always for His glory!
