Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  1. Who or what is BMI?

BMI is a non-profit ministry that is dedicatd to proclaiming the truth, as found in the Bible. The Bible teaches us that God has hidden truth from mankind by way of parables, but reveals it to His People in His time. The Bible further teaches us that the only way to come to truth is to compare spiritual things with spiritual--to compare scripture with scripture. (see 1 Corinthians 2:13).

  2. Is BMI affiliated with any other organizations, denominations, or churches?

No. BMI is an independent ministry with its own staff and personnel. We have, however, provided programming over the Family Radio network for close to ten years. For the purpose of remaining faithful, however, being indepdenent under the sole authority of the Bible is paramount. On the other hand, we also believe in being our "brother's keeper," and so we strive to contribute to other, like-minded believers, groups, and organizations in various ways.

  3. Why does BMI not work with a chruch?

The Bible teaches that there would come a time when the churches would forsake the truth. In the parable of the wicked husbandmen (Matthew 21:41), we learn that Israel failed to bring forth fruit (typified by a fig tree in Matthew 21:19). This parable, while recalling a historical failure on the part of Israel, simultaneously foretells of a future failure on the part of the corporate church. We believe that this spiritual collapse of all churches worldwide has already happened as of May 21, 1988, 2300 days prior to September 6, 1994 (the 40th Jubile from the birth of Christ). Daniel 8:14 speaks of a 2300-day period of the church's collapse before the task of the gospel is asigned to beleivers outside of the church for the fulfilment of (Matthew 26:13). The command to flee the church as of that time, is spoken of in Matthew 24:15. Therfore the true and eternal church of God (consisting of all true believers) is now entirely separated from the corporate churches worldwide.

  4. What do gifts to BMI help to support?

Tax-decuctable donations made to BMI help to support our radio broadcasts worldwide, as well as our Feeding Lambs children's Bible study webcast. Additionally, donations support the basic needs of full-time volunteers of our ministry, as well as the provision of free Bible study materials to anyone who may request them. If you would like to earmark your donation for a specific purpose, you may do so by leaving a comment alongside your donation with that information.

  5. How can I obtain free Bible study materials?

Simply contact us by using our online contact form and let us know which items you are requesting. From time-to-time we do get a limited number of Bibles. If you are in need of a soft Bible, a digital text and audio Bible are available via the Family Radio website (www.FamilyRadio.com).
